Introduction

The 485PC-IF has an RS-232C port for connection with computer, and an RS-485 terminal block for connection with the PC, and is designed as an interface unit for converting the RS-232C signal of the computer into an RS-485 signal.

A dedicated protocol is used in the transmission control procedure for linking the PC and the computer. The transmission data of the dedicated protocol is communicated in ASCII code as shown below.
