Description:

485C as a half-duplex converter DB-9 pin Block end pin state as follows:

 7-8 Disconnect 8-9 1-5 shorted shorted * 2-4 shorted * 3 shorted have jumpers to set the RS-485 (+ A) RS-485 (-B) GND (ground)

(Jumper) shorted common as RS-485, A (+ A) * 1 foot and 5 feet between end.

* Between 2 feet and 4 feet (jumper) shorted together as RS-485 negative end of the B (-B).

    RS485 full duplex converter as the DB-9 pin Block end pin state as follows:
